Project Overview

Move Afrika is a groundbreaking live music series touring across Africa with a mission to celebrate African creativity, support local talent, stimulate job creation, and build a sustainable ecosystem for live entertainment across the continent. The initiative seeks to transform Africa’s live music industry by bringing world-class events to major cities while strengthening local creative economies.

When Move Afrika arrived in Rwanda, the objective was clear: create massive awareness for the event and drive ticket sales while positioning Kigali as a key destination for international live music experiences.

To achieve this goal, Upscale Media implemented a comprehensive Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising campaign that leveraged Rwanda’s urban visibility channels. The campaign combined billboards, light pole branding, building branding, and bus advertising to ensure the event captured attention across the city.

Through this integrated approach, Move Afrika achieved high visibility across Kigali, reaching thousands of residents, commuters, and visitors daily.
